Elite IT Uses Clockwork for Jira to Help Proper AI Track Time

Consultants from Eilte IT met up with members of the HeroCoders team at Atlassian’s Team '24 in Las Vegas, and soon began chatting about how Clockwork for Jira had formed an integral part of the solution they provided one of their clients:

What HeroCoders' products have you implemented on behalf of your clients?


We recently implemented Clockwork for Jira | Pro for one of our clients who was working in Jira and had complex time tracking needs.

Why did you choose the HeroCoders product as opposed to another option from the Atlassian Marketplace?


Clockwork’s automated time tracking feature sets it apart from other Jira time tracking apps available in the Atlassian Marketplace. Some of our clients process a high volume of tickets every day, and need to track their time on each individual ticket. Other Jira time tracking apps don’t provide a way to do that without requiring specific action on the part of the user.

What do you/your clients love about the HeroCoders' product? Are there particular features that they find indispensable?


From our perspective, we love the simplicity of setting up the app. Turning it on for the desired projects is simple and intuitive. Defining the active statuses that will track time and creating reports is also very accessible and easy to understand.
From our customer's perspective, the automatic time tracking that doesn’t require any effort or additional time from their staff is the key value feature.

Have you/your clients ever interacted with HeroCoders' customer support? How did it go? How important is support when selecting products for your clients?


We’ve reached out to HeroCoders' support on behalf of our customers on a few occasions. The response was good, fast and clear every time. As consultants who help our clients implement solutions that include multiple apps, customer support is quite important to us.  We don’t always have all the answers, or the ability to act on something that might be going on with an app, so having a reliable way to reach out and get fast, reliable help is a must.

Can you tell us about a use case where you implemented a HeroCoders product as part of a solution for one of your clients?


For the last couple of years, we’ve been using Clockwork with our client, Proper AI, an accounting agency specializing in services for property managers and real estate developers. They process upwards of 25,000 tickets per month. The fact that Clockwork automatically tracks how long it takes them to do their work on each ticket is incredibly valuable. It not only saves them a lot of time and effort, but it also reduces human error in the metrics. Automated time tracking was the main Clockwork feature they wanted, but they quickly started using the rich reporting functionality as well.

Any comments on why Elite IT decided to join HeroCoder’s partner program and what benefits you’ve seen since becoming partner?


We're big fans of the HeroCoders’ Atlassian marketplace apps, and becoming official partners has taken our collaboration to a whole new level. Their top-notch apps and support service allows us to bring quality solutions directly to our clients.
