Every year HeroCoders gathers for a company retreat in a different corner of the world. This year, we headed north to the lovely city of Gdansk on the Baltic Sea.
As a remote-only company, retreats offer us a special time to work together,
brainstorm and strategize about the company’s future.
But it wasn’t all work. We also took the time to enjoy the scenery around beautiful Kania Lodge where we were staying.
We savored the local cuisine…
Some of us even tried hot, spiced beer.
We explored the old city…
Learned about Gdansk’s turbulent history…
And went to the beach. (We didn’t get the greatest weather on our beach day, but that didn’t dampen our spirits.)
